So by now you should have seen our great new AW18 collection headed up by Sheffield based model Sam Reece. We worked with Sam Reece to showcase the best of our AW18 range, a selection of skinny, slim and tailored suits in a range of fabrics such as tweed, checked and herringbone. This blog will take you behind the scenes on our photoshoot for this new range!
Okay so firstly, let us in introduce you to our model and the face of the whole campaign Sam Reece. Sam is known in the model and reality tv scene for his good looks and cool style and we were excited to be able to work with him. Sam was a gem on the shoot day and knew exactly how to boss all of those suit poses! See our Q&A with Sam Reece for more info.
We worked with our tried and trusted photographer Gavin from Visual Aspect who made sure to capture the cool autumnal feel of photography we were hoping for. We also had David and Gordon from Proud Motion on hand to help ensure we got the video content based on the new campaign. Proud Motion helped us create our first ever youtube advert in which we poked fun at the stereotypical belief of reality tv stars integelliance, watch our tongue in check video now.
All in all the guys hit the nail on the head (standard) and we were able see our plans executed perfectly and get the content we really wanted. Claire from Spotlight make up was around to top up any shiny foreheads and fix any stray hairs.
Lastly the usual Slaters content team were on the shoot to establish objectives, direct everyone and make sure it was a good day for all. As always we had a great day filled with cut throat banter and lots of laughs (usually at my expense). It was pleasure to work with these guys and it makes it all that much better that we are mega pleased with the results.
