The Prince of Wales Embraces Scotland
Prince Charles has been pictured sporting a kilt on a number of occasions when he comes to visit Balmoral Castle and as a menswear retailer that started in Scotland, we can’t help but feel a sense of pride when we see him showing off a traditional highland outfit.
Although the Prince of Wales will usually sport a regal tartan for his kilt, his traditional look is easy to recreate with the help of the highland hirewear department at Slater Menswear.
We’ve got kilts, jackets, socks and more to help you get the full look and embrace this royal look with a Scottish twist.
Prince William on a Royal Visit to Jerusalem
During a recent royal visit to Jerusalem, we saw the future king of England show off a slightly different look to his usual navy suit and as we’re feeling the summer vibes now here at Slaters, we couldn’t help but love it!
A light grey/stone coloured two-piece suit with light blue shirt, navy tie and brown suede shoes. The Prince pulled off this summer inspired smart look with style and we’re seriously inspired.
Prince Harry’s Engagement Shoot
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wowed the nation when they hit the spotlight for the first time as an engaged couple in their first appearance together after announcing their happy news. He played it simple but he sported this understated ensemble extremely well, making us all remember that black and blue actually do go together. Today.com captured his look perfectly, allowing us to see the outfit in full detail.
A More Casual Look for Prince William
During a visit to Jerash, Jordan in June, Prince William sported a more casual look for the occasion to cater for the warm weather.
Still keeping it smart enough to in-keep with royal regulations, the Prince sported stone-coloured trousers, a light blue open neck skirt, darker blue casual blazer and the same pair of dark brown suede shoes he seemed to favour throughout this royal tour.
Prince Harry’s More Laid-Back Look
Similarly to his brother, Harry too has been seen sporting some more laid-back looks for some of his royal visits.
When he visited a new children’s sports centre in London back in April, he was snapped in a more casual ensemble to allow him to join in with some of the activities going on. A navy chino-style trouser, open-collar white shirt, navy blazer and dark brown suede shoes, an understated but stylish combination.
The Royal Males at Wimbledon
Both Prince William and Prince Harry are big sports fans, both making regular appearances to the rugby and of course, Wimbledon. Both of the princes tend to sport a more paired back smart casual look for sporting events, Prince William recently spent the afternoon at the Wimbledon final with the Duchess of Cambridge and sported a soft patterned blazer with white shirt and textured navy tie, paired with navy chino style trousers, a perfect option for a hot day at a sporting event.
Both Prince William and Prince Harry have also been seen wearing polo shorts and chinos for sporting events or more casual royal visits, a modern and stylish look that works for all men.
The royal men are known for being well dressed, so if you fancy giving your wardrobe a regal feel, keep an eye on the Kensington Palace twitter page to see the latest outfits worn by the royal males.
