Not specifically a milkshake shop but an eatery that has a seriously tasty selection of shakes on the menu, Home Sweet Home can be found in two different locations in the city of Manchester: in the Northern Quarter on Edge Street and in the Great Northern area in Great Northern Square.

The menu is bursting with amazing dishes to choose from. Showcasing separate breakfast, lunch and dinner menus, every meal has the option of adding a milkshake.

Home Sweet Home offer classic shakes that are made with real dairy ice cream for £4.50 as well as catering for the more hardcore milkshake lover with their ‘cakeshakes’.

Glasgow – Pizza Punks

Hidden inside a cool and quirky pizzeria is a selection of wonderous milkshakes that need to be seen to be believed.

Pair your wood-fired pizza with one of the ‘freakshakes’ from Pizza Punks. Located on Vincent Street in the city centre, Pizza Punks is home to a selection of tasty pizzas and crazy shakes that are a perfect combination after a long day of shopping.

On the menu for just £6, choose from a range of different flavours including chocolate brownie, strawberry cheesecake and banoffee pie. Vegan? No problem! Pizza Punks have a vegan chocolate brownie on the menu that is made with homemade vegan brownies and vegan ice cream!

As if the sound of those shakes isn’t good enough, if you’re celebrating your birthday with a pizza and some close mates, add one of their monstrous birthday freakshakes into the mix as an unforgettable way to celebrate.

Edinburgh – The Boozy Cow

We mentioned The Boozy Cow as a great place to grab a burger in Aberdeen but when it comes to finding the best shakes in Edinburgh, this is a great place to look.

The Boozy Cow not only serves iconic burgers and unforgettable cocktails but impressive milkshakes too. Located on Frederick Street in New Town, the shakes at The Boozy Cow make a perfect dessert or are a great alternative to alcohol if you’re not drinking but still want to join in with the fun.

Ranging from £5.50 for a standard chocolate, strawberry, toffee or mint choc chip shake to £6.00 for one of their ‘deluxe shakes’ which includes flavours such as Kinder Bueno and ‘pink fluffy cloud’. You can even get the best of both worlds at the Boozy Cow by ordering one of their ‘boozy shakes’, the taste of a milkshake with the addition of top quality spirits.

Leeds – Rosie’s Diner

Burgers and milkshakes go hand in hand perfectly, so if you’re looking for an eatery in Leeds that does both of those things and more then Rosie’s Diner is the place to go.

Located on Kirkstall Road, LS4 2DG, Rosie’s Diner isn’t far from Leeds Beckett University and is well worth the journey from the city centre. Keeping it relatively simple but seriously tasty, the shakes at Rosie’s come in flavours such as chocolate, vanilla, mint chocolate, peanut butter, strawberry, cookie dough, Oreo and banana! Topped with a little cream and garnish, the wow-factor is all in the flavour with these shakes!

Aberdeen – Long Dog Cafe

We’ve established by now that milkshakes are great, so you’re probably wondering how these sweet and tasty treats could possibly get any better. Well, what if we told you that the Long Dog Café in Aberdeen not only does crazy shakes that taste amazing but you can enjoy them surrounded by dogs too!

Established as a place for dog owner’s and their companions to visit for a bite to eat and to escape the wet Scottish weather, the Long Dog Café is run by the owner of a very cool little sausage dog and is now a favourite eatery with dog owners up and down Scotland.

As well as having the best atmosphere, Long Dog Café also serves up an array of shakes that really have the wow-factor! From their Oreo shake that is dripping with chocolate sauce and topped with a toasted marshmallow to their ever-popular unicorn shake that is served with fizzy belts, flying saucers and rainbow drops on top, this is the place to go for unforgettable shakes in Aberdeen!
