Edinburgh at Christmas is a dream destination for some and understandably too as this is a city that knows how to celebrate the festive season well. Quite simply entitled ‘Edinburgh’s Christmas’, this festive extravaganza began back in mid-November, but the celebrations continue to get better and better the closer we get to the big day. From traditional Christmas markets dotted all across the city’s streets to events and activities throughout the season such as shows, fairground rides and ice skating, there’s something to suit all ages and budgets!

The Manchester Christmas markets are infamous around the country for being one of the best places to get in the festive mood and experience the traditional German style markets. Coming down from Piccadilly station, it’s only a 5-minute walk before you enter the first of the stalls but as you carry on through the main shopping areas of the city, you’ll get engulfed by a variety of stands, from classic hotdogs to hot chocolate as well as gifts and other tasty treats.
